INDP Yearly BudgetText Box: Dedication to their home church located in Brownsburg Indiana is still very important to them. Today Cathy performs on the Worship Team and Tom is the Prayer Team Leader there.

Text Box: Tom and Cathy met and were married in 1991 though began their ministry in Drama within weeks of meeting each other. They have three children, Alyssa 17, Elizabeth 12, and Kristin 10. Tom also has a daughter Rachael Roney 22.
Tom’s work with the National Day of Prayer began in 1998 as an eleventh hour replacement of a retiring coordinator of an event of typically 50 participants which grew to over 3000 during his leadership over next two years. By synergizing the efforts of tent evangelists, food kitchens and others during his events, hundreds came to know Christ, were fed, clothed, and sheltered, even an abortion was thwarted and an adoption made at an events resource tent.
As regional coordinator for Western Pennsylvania an impact was made as Tom traveled the hills of the Appellations promoting his cause of prayer for leaders. The number and size of Western Pennsylvania’s events grew.
Late in 2001the family moved to Indiana due to Tom’s plant closing.

Text Box: In October of 2003 Tom was appointed State Coordinator of Indiana by National Coordinator Julie Batura. Tom was almost immediately challenged by Shirley Dobson to hold event in all of Indiana’s 92 Counties. Due to downsizing Tom was out of work which allowed an almost full time effort to this goal and others while continuing his job search.
In just a few months time he had traveled to over half of the states counties particularly those without events. He recruited volunteers to vigil at the Statehouse while in session and yet others to produce TV and radio adds that Tom distributed and worked hard to get free air time. Tom’s message to millions around the world on Lesea’s Harvest Show that aired in April echoed Paul’s words to Timothy.
1 Tim 2;1-4 1 I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone-- 2for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. 3This is good, and pleases God our Savior, 4who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.
After May 6th when all the lofty goals that had been set for Tom were accomplished he met with the Chairman of the parent ministry that started the National Day of Prayer of which is still a project of theirs. He was so moved by the progress that had taken place that he was prompted to ask Tom to make this his full time effort and to begin raising his own funding for this cause. Meet some of Tom's new friends. Copyright © 2003-2010
